LEN function
- Syntax: LEN(Text)
- Use: Return the length of the character string;
TRIM function
- Syntax: TRIM(Text);
- Use: Removes spaces in a string (leaving only one space between words)
SUM function
- Syntax: SUM(Number1, Number2,…)
- Use: Calculate the sum of a series of numbers;
SUMIF function
- Syntax: SUMIF(Series 01, Comparison condition, Series 02)
Series 01: Used to calculate the sum and compare with the comparison condition;
Series 02: Only numbers in series 02 are summed if the comparison condition between “Series 01 and Comparison condition” is satisfied;
- Use: Calculate the sum of a series of numbers according to a given condition;
AVERAGE function
- Syntax: AVERAGE(Number1, Number2,…)
- Use: Calculate the average of a series of numbers;
MAX function
- Syntax: MAX(Number1, Number2,…)
- Uses:
Returns the largest value in the listed number sequence;
MIN function
- Syntax: MIN(Number1, Number2,…)
- Uses:
Returns the smallest number in the listed number sequence;
COUNT function
- Syntax: COUNT(Value1, Value2,…)
- Use: Count cells containing numbers in a table;
COUNTIF function
- Syntax: COUNTIF(Number range, logical condition)
- Use: Returns the number of cells containing values that satisfy a certain logical condition;
MOD function
- Syntax: MOD(value1, value2)
- Use: Returns the remainder in the division of value1 by value2;
INT function
- Syntax: INT(decimal);
- Use: Returns the integer part of a decimal number;
ROUND rounding function
- Syntax: ROUND(Value 1, n)
- Use: Round decimal number Value1;
Note: if n>0 then round to the number n after the decimal point; If n< 0 then round to the number |n|+1 before the decimal point, the digits immediately following the |n|+1 digit before the decimal point are all converted to 0;
IF branching control function
- Syntax: IF(Logic_Test, Value1, Value2)
- Use: If the Logic_test expression is True, the IF statement returns the value Value1, otherwise it returns the value Value2;
VLOOKUP Search Function
- Syntax: VLOOKUP(Value1, Table_Array, Col_Index, Range_Lookup)
Value1: The value to look up;
Table_Array: The table of values to look up;
Col_Index: The column number to get data from Table_Array;
Range_Lookup: The search range (1: Relative search; 0: Exact search correct);
- Use: Returns the value of a cell corresponding to the Col_Index column in the Table_Array table and the row corresponding to the Value01 value found in the Table_Array table;
TODAY() function
- Syntax: TODAY()
- Use: Returns the current system date and time;
NOW() function
- Syntax: NOW()
- Use: Returns the current system date and time;
DAY function
- Syntax: DAY(DateValue)
- Use: Returns the day status of a value of the date-month-year data type
MONTH function
- Syntax: MONTH(DateValue)
- Use: Returns the month corresponding to the value of the date-month-year format or the number of days in the year;
YEAR function
- Syntax: YEAR(DateValue)
- Use: Returns the year corresponding to the date data type;
WEEKDAY function
- Syntax: WEEKDAY(Datevalue)
- Use: Returns the day of the week corresponding to the date-month-year data type;
The function returns a value in the range from 1 to 7 (corresponding to Sunday to Saturday);
AND function
- Syntax: AND(Logic1, Logic2,…)
- Use: The function returns TRUE if the expressions Logic1, Logic1,… all return TRUE; The function returns FALSE when at least one Logic expression returns FALSE;
OR function
- Syntax: OR(Logic1, Logic2,…)
- Use: The function returns the value TRUE if one of the expressions Logic1, Logic1,… returns the value TRUE; The function returns the value FALSE when all the expressions Logic1, Logic2,… return the value FALSE;
NOT function
- Syntax: NOT(Logic)
- Use: The function returns the negation value of a logical expression;
